With regard to the role of motivation in the advancement of the organizations’ goals, the present research is aimed at investigating the effective factors in the occupational motivation of the staffs of the central branch of Islamic Republic Foundation of Martyrs and Veteran’s Affairs on the basis of Herzberg’s Two Factor Hypothesis from the point of view of the central branch and their occupation motivation on the basses of personal and individual factors. Herzberg considers health and motivational factors as the occupation motivations, each of which has its own sub _ structure: the sub _ structures of health factor are: policy, supervision, working environment, mutual social relationship, payment and salary; the sub _ structures of motivational factor are: gaining success, appreciating and acknowledgement, responsibility, interest in occupation and advancement. The research methodology is descriptive and the research community includes all staffs in central branch of the Islamic Republic Foundation of Martyrs and Veteran’s Affairs of Tehran in four managerial statuses: Supreme Mangers, middle position managers, technical managers, Supervisors and the usual staffs from among whom the researcher has chosen 233 persons at random. The data collected has been analyzed by the use of students T _ Test, variance analysis, and the X² test. The results indicate that:
1.Health and motivation factors of the hypothesis of Herzberg have been effective on the occupational motivation of the staffs at a medium level.
2.There is meaningful difference between occupational motivation of male and female staffs with the surety of % 95.
3.The difference between the levels of jobs from the pint of view of occupational motivation has been meaningful with the surety of % 95. Academic education has been effective and advantageous in increasing occupational motivation.
4.The staffs that have 5 to 10 years experience are more motivated in comparison to the other staffs.
5.The staffs that have more than 40 years old years are less motivated in comparison to the other staffs.
6.There is no meaningful difference between occupational motivations of shahed staffs.
7.There is no meaningful difference among the fighters and the non _ fighters groups, injured and safe groups, married and single groups from the point of view of occupational motivations.
