Assessing the performance of the staffs is a very important process and is one of the most challenging tasks that the managers have to deal with. The documents show that the managers of the organizations are not content with the methods and systems that are used for the assessment of the staffs.
The research is intended to gain information and insights about the assessment grades of the staffs on their working behavior. The research community includes all usual staffs and the male experts of the Islamic Republic Foundation of Martyrs and Veteran’s Affairs of Khorassan, the number of whom is 40 persons. They were evaluated in 1999; indeed there were no sampling and all the 40 personnel were evaluated. In order to gather information a questionnaire about working behavior criteria was used. The results indicate that:
There is meaningful difference between the assessment grades that the managers have given the staffs of the community for the behavior at work and their real behavior. There is not meaningful difference between the assessment grades that the managers have given the usual staffs for the behavior at work and their real behavior. There is meaningful difference between the assessment grades that the managers have given the experts of the community for the behavior at work and their real behavior.
